The following general rules apply to all Competitions.
Each prize draw and competition will run from the Start Date through the End Date, each of which appear on the Competition page.
Each Competition is open only to Ireland residents and entrants must be aged 18 or over. Employees of Mother Hubbards or anyone else connected to the Competition, may not enter.
Only one entry per household is allowed unless otherwise stated on the Competition page. Only entries made online via the Internet will be accepted. All submitted entries become the property of Mother Hubbards; provided that any materials submitted as part of an Entry, such as a photograph, video, written story or drawing, are “Solicited Submissions” as described below.
“Solicited Submissions” means those Submissions that we expressly request or enable you to provide to us via any feature or activity on a Site for our review or display and possible specifically-defined consideration or compensation (collectively, “Consideration”) (such as prizes or other value in games, sweepstakes, contests and promotions).
Unless otherwise noted on the Competition page, no purchase is necessary to enter any Competition. Entrants are responsible for the cost of their connection to the Competition page via the Internet.
Mother Hubbards does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to the Competition page or website. Mother Hubbards does not accept responsibility for lost, damaged, invalid or illegible entries.
All entries for a Competition must be received no later than 12.00pm British Time on the End Date to be eligible for selection.
Winner Selection (depending on the type of Competition): For a Prize Draw: All winning entries will be selected randomly by Mother Hubbards within two (2) weeks of the End Date from all correct entries received. The selection is final.
Winners will receive confirmation via the medium in which they submitted their application within three weeks of the draw date. Winners must respond within two weeks of receiving this communication, or risk forfeiting the prize. Mother Hubbards reserves the right to select another prize winner if a reply is not received in time, and Mother Hubbards shall have no liability to previously-selected prize winners who have not replied in time.
All prizes are non-transferable. No cash alternative is available for any prize. In the unlikely event that a prize should become unavailable, Mother Hubbards reserves the right to substitute a prize which it reasonably determines as being of equal value.
Mother Hubbards reserves the right to cancel or terminate the Competition or disqualify any participant at any time without giving advance notice and will do so if it cannot be guaranteed that the Event can be carried out correctly for technical or legal reasons or if Mother Hubbards suspects that any person has been manipulating the administration of the Event or has acted unethically in any other way.
Use of Personal Information; Post-Event Publicity: To enter the Competition we may ask you to register your personal details with us. Your registered details will only be used in accordance with Mother Hubbards current published Privacy Policy. If you are only asked to provide an email address to enter then your personal information will only be used by Mother Hubbards , its agents and their related companies to administer the promotion, to select the winner or winners (if more than one) and to arrange delivery of the prize(s). You will receive marketing from Mother Hubbards regarding our future services and events unless you opt out by contacting Mother Hubbards.
Each Entrant agrees that if he or she wins a Prize, Mother Hubbards will have the right, without additional payment or permission, to use their name for the purposes of announcing the winner(s) and they may be requested to participate in post-event publicity.
